The Games
We went into Warhammer World, past the life-size models of a Tank and Space Marine. We ended up in the dining area, Bugman’s, and were surrounded by the other schools setting up. We were eventually led into the giant hall with the other schools where battle was to commence. Each student played three games and the wins and losses all contributed to the points of the team. After we had played all our games and had broken up for lunch, we gained free access to the very impressive exhibition hall.
The Exhibition
The whole exhibition took 20 minutes to walk around and featured at least one hundred display cases containing every army ever created by Games Workshop. They took over 3 months to build and the attention to detail is inspiring.
The result and the quiz
Whilst waiting for the results each school was challenged in the quiz and Marling B team placed second losing out on a tiebreak!
All in all, the A Team placed sixth out of twenty seven teams missing out on the final by just 10 points and the B Team placed tenth. Also, the B Team won the “Most Sporting” award, which is voted for by the other players and Lucas Holtmeyer-Cole won Best General for the day.

Thanks to Mr Byrne for giving up his day to support us and to Mr Balster for driving and enabling us to go.
