A Level Geographers enjoy sunny Gower Peninsular
The A Level Geographers spent two days in Swansea and the Gower this week undertaking fieldwork for their coursework project and learning about the amazing coastal landscapes of the Gower peninsular. We explored sand dunes, measured beach profiles, investigated relict cliff lines and raised beaches, examined how water moves through a stream valley and studied perceptions of Swansea and its dockland regeneration. We stayed overnight in Swansea university to give us a taste of university halls of residence, had several ice creams on the beach and sang songs on the bus. A good time -and great geography - was experienced by all!
